On her first San Juan’s Eve, Lluna (8) witnesses an unexpected encounter between her widowed mother, María, and Juan, a man with whom she shares a special bond and who will join in their new family tradition. As the celebration unfolds amidst bonfires, rituals and waves, Lluna is torn between curiosity and jealousy; between wanting to grow up and wanting to win her mother back. Lluna will discover that María has a life beyond her, a life that seems to falter by the end of the night.
