Assia, a 33-year-old woman of French and Algerian descent, travels to Alicante to reunite with her family. Her dream summer falls apart when she realises that the wounds of exile are still raw. Assia must come to terms with her own sense of rootlessness and decide whether her family, with all its flaws, is the only place she truly belongs.
